About Guru Monk:
Luangpho Jom Nakaseno (abbot of Wat Pa Ban Don Du, Amnat Charoen province) is an admirable monk whom many disciples love and respect.
He was born on 7 October 1919 C.E. in Amnat Charoen province. He admires LP Mun Phurithatto, a famous meditation monk in the past. LP Jom got ordained as a Buddhist monk when he was 37. After that, he accomplished Nak Tham Ek, the highest level of dharma test. Then LP Jom found meditation and pilgrimage very important for a monk to find out himself, so he went to LP Mun Phurithatto whom he has faith in. He learned meditation with LP Mun and accompanied him on a pilgrimage. Other than LP Mun, LP Jom went to many respectable guru monks to learn more meditation and mantras. In the way of LP Mun, LP Jom keeps himself modest and simple. Until 1990 C.E. when LP Jom stayed at Wat Phu Jampa in Amnat Charoen province, he was invited by a monk to be an abbot of Wat Pa Phothisomporn in his hometown. In 2004 C.E., Wat Pa Phothisomporn was renamed Wat Pa Ban Don Du.
