History of Luangpho Phra Sai Buddha:
Luangpho Phra Sai is a holy Buddha image situated in Ubosot chapel of Wat Phochai, Nong Khai Province. Building this Buddha image is not common because men put fire to furnace continuously for 7 days. And day 8 at noon, an ascetic in white came and asked monk to help casting the Buddha image. When monk went, everybody could not believe their eyes; many furnaces and many ascetics there.
Wonderful Stories of Luangpho Phra Sai Buddha:
1. Many years ago, a man from different province challenged Luangpho Phra Sai. He said if the Buddha image were really holy, the Buddha could make thunderbolt immediately. Then thunderbolt occurred wonderfully.
2. Luangpho Phra Sai saved two people from the fallen plane. This story happened in 1980. One of the two carried a small Luangpho Phra Sai statue (5-inch lap) on that day. He was safe after the accident and moreover the Buddha image was not damaged.
