About ‘Wat Khao Ta Krao’, it is believed the builder was the Chinese millionaire and the conductor of construction had a long beard, so people called ‘Wat Khao Jin Krao’ (Jin: Chinese, Krao: beard) and later differently sounded to ‘Wat Khao Ta Krao’.
