Name: Phra Nang Saneh Chan amulet

Phra Nang Phraya is honored as “Queen of Amulet” as the beauty of Buddha image.

From: Wat Phra Borommathat Nakhon Chum, Kamphaeng Phet Province

Origin: Thailand

Year: 2560 BE (2017 CE)

Size: 2.7 cm x 3.2 cm

Purpose: to contribute for building the crematorium at Wat Phra Borommathat Nakhon Chum

Power: Phra Nang Phaya is an ancient amulet. Phra Nang Phaya is rare and popular among Thai amulet collectors. Thai people believe to worship Phra Nang Phaya can:
- protect the owner from dangers, accidents and bad things
- ‘Metta Maha Niyom’ (to gain people kindness)
- make the owner lucky, progress, prosperous and successful
- change bad fortune to good fortune
- bring auspiciousness to life of the owner

Wat Phra Borommathat Nakhon Chum, Kamphaeng Phet Province, Thailand. The temple situated in the centre of Mueang Nakhon Chum (Kamphaeng Phet ancient town) featuring a Burmese-style Chedi. The Chedi itself is believed to originally have been a Sukhothai-type structure, its style having been altered during a restoration work financed by a wealthy Burmese about a century ago.

This amulet was found at Wat Phra Borommathat Nakhon Chum on 4 March 2012 during renovating the vihara to be the library for monks and novices.

The amulets from Wat Phra Borommathat Nakhon Chum are assumed to be more than 200 years old. Ancient amulets that were found are called “Phra Kroo” (Kroo = chamber).

In fact, Phra Kroo from Kamphaeng Phet Province have been famous among Thai amulet circle for a long time.

“Believed whoever owns those Phra Kroo will be lucky, prosperous and moreover safe from harm and dangers.”

Consecration: Blessing of this collection was held throughout 3 months in 2016 by abbot and monks in the Buddhist chapel, Phra Borommathat Nakhon Chum and again on 1 April 2017 (the holy day called “Sao Ha”).

List of Guru Monks: Phra Wichianmunee Wat Phattharaj Bamrung (president to light Tian Chai candle), Phra Kru Wachirapanyakhun Wat Gutigaram, LP Juea Wat Nong Phandin, LP Sa-ard Wat Sadet, and so on.
