Biography of LP Lek:
LP Lek is another very famous monk from Kanchanaburi Province. Many of your disciples come to you all over the country. Most of his students are police and soldiers. Phra Achan Lek is a monk who practices religiously.
LP Lek, or Phra Kru Phawanawakit (Prem Sislo), was a former abbot of Wat Santikiri Sri Bhumithat in Kanchanaburi. He was born on March 20, 1942, but his parents' names are not known. As a young monk, he was interested in studying the occult and had many opportunities to learn from famous monks.
In 1949, when LP Lek was 17 years old, he left home to study metalwork in Bangkok. He worked as a teacher at a vocational school and also learned about Buddhism and occult practices from various masters. One of his first teachers was a layman named Ajarn Thong Suk, who was a skilled exorcist and had fought in World War II.
In 1953, LP Lek joined the army but was rejected due to his poor health. He then returned to Bangkok to continue his studies with Ajarn Thong Suk, who taught him various occult practices such as magic and sorcery. LP Lek also learned about palm reading and astrology from other masters.
In 1956, LP Lek became the disciple of LP Thongdee, a famous monk known for his magical powers. LP Lek studied with Ajarn Tong Dee for many years and learned various occult practices such as creating talismans, summoning spirits, and performing exorcisms.
In 1958, LP Lek traveled to Ayutthaya to study with Ajarn Oun, a master of magical arts. He also learned about meditation and spiritual practices from other masters.
In 1960, LP Lek returned to Kanchanaburi and began to build a hermitage in the forest. He spent many years practicing meditation and studying occult practices.
In 1963, LP Lek was appointed as the first abbot of Wat Khao Din in Kanchanaburi. He served as the abbot for many years and was known for his wisdom and magical powers.
LP Lek passed away peacefully on March 23, 2010, at the age of 82 (60 years in monkhood).
