Amulets for Superpower, Ascendancy, and Influence
In Thai culture, amulets have been a significant part of daily life for centuries. Despite the rapid changes and advancements in society, the belief in amulets has endured, evolving and adapting to modern times. The notion of amulets is deeply rooted in Thai people's spiritual beliefs, and their significance is not limited to mere superstition. In fact, many Thais believe that these talismans possess superpower-like abilities that can bring them protection, good fortune, and even invincibility.

Phra Kru Phawanaphirom or Pho Than Kling is another good monk of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, the South of Thailand. All his life: 104 years, he always had mercy on people. For his holiness, Pho Than Klai of Wat Suan Khan, the same Province who got a nickname a monk who has holy words once said to his disciples **Next time, do not need to come to me. Had better go to Pho Than Kling because he blesses as well as me.** And even Pho Than Nam of Wat Don Sala, Phatthalung Province, an important monk of the South also praised Pho Than Kling often.
Pho Than Kling had long life. He passed away at age 104 in 1990. There are many amulets he blessed such as his image medals, Look Om Chan Mak or a holy ball made of betel nut powder, Phra Pidta (Wan : propitious Thai plants mixed holy powder), etc. Most of them are prominent in Metta Maha Niyom (ability to draw people’s mercy and good feelings), wealth and harm protection.
Wat Thaloongthong in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province is related to Pho Than Kling because he used to be an abbot. This temple is quiet and near mountains. In the temple, there is the gold pagoda where is Pho Than Kling Museum and the nice chapel. Moreover, visitors can pay respect to Pho Than Kling body that does not decay after death, well kept in the glass coffin.
**For miracles of amulets by Pho Than Kling, one of them is Pho Than Kling Medal with King Bhumibol emblem. This medal was made in 2521 BE (1978 CE) on the occasion of 93rd birthday of Pho Than Kling celebration. Special thing is that the medal has King Bhumibol emblem on back side . Ceremony of this medal was not common because King Bhumibol anointed the metal and ordered his staff to give Pho Than Kling to make the medals. Metal from the king was melted with holy metal Yant sheets of Pho Than Kling building much power of the medals.
These are incredible stories of people and their Pho Than Kling medals. First story is about a fisherman. One day of November in 2005 he set off his ship and had an accident because the tidal wave hit his ship around 8 p.m. A man fell off his ship. He grabbed a piece of wood and had floated in the sea for 2 days before people found him and he was safe. A man said that during floating in the sea, he prayed to Pho Than Kling medal on his neck to help him safe!
Second story is about a farmer in Prachuabkirikhan Province. One day of June in 2004 around 9 p.m. while he was walking, someone shot him. First shooting, a man was nothing. So, a gunman shot 2 times shortly after. Wonderfully, a man was nothing again. Then a gunman hit him with a gun handle and he passed out. Next morning, people found him and took him home. When he woke up, he checked himself and found 3 bruises on his body. Actually, he was shot, but the bullets did not get into his skin with only bruises left. A man believed Pho Than Kling medal he wore on his neck saved him!
