Wua Tanu (magic ox doll) is related to Thai lifestyle that relies on agriculture. In the past, people created ox as talisman for a hunter whose job was risky to protect himself from invisible danger.
Wua Tanu is created to fight against bad spirits and black magic done by bad people. So, having Wua Tanu will keep you and your house safe from bad spirits, black magic and also thieves that will fear and run away for lives.

WORSHIP GUIDANCE: After receiving Wua Tanu , first, we have to tell a guardian spirit in the place to open way for Wua Tanu by lighting 16 joss sticks and say with your native language (if no joss sticks, you can say only). Every day, offer a glass of clean drinking water and grass. Wua Tanu must be placed below Buddhas, monks, deities and hermits. Wua Tanu can be at the same level of Prai (spirits).
About LP Mian:
LP Mian Kalayano known as “Luangpoh Mian” is an abbot of Wat Ban Janian in Buriram Province. LP Mian is kind to everyone, so a lot of people love and respect him.
LP Mian was born in BE 2482 (CE 1939) in Cambodia. At age 10, he got ordained as a Buddhist novice. Until age 20, he got ordained as a monk. He learnt Mantra from 12 Cambodian guru monks. During being a monk in Cambodia, LP Mian travel on a pilgrimage for mysticism.
In CE 1976, Cambodia had a war that people and priests were killed. So, LP Mian immigrated to Thailand. He came to Sa Kaeo Province. In BE 2522 (CE 1979), he got ordained again at Wat Nong Tim, Sa Kaeo Province. After that, he went on pilgrimage to many Provinces. In Sisaket Province, he met LP Suang (passed away in CE 2000) whom was called “Thewada Dern Din” that means “angel on earth”. He learnt magic from LP Suang until he understood. LP Mian is also a friend of LP Jiam Atisayo, a well-known monk in Surin Province.
